Energy Audits
SCE and SDGE provide free energy audits to assess your facility’s ability to participate in Demand Response. We contract with certified engineers to perform these audit and determine how much kw you could shed during a DR event. Based on the kw that has been determined by the utility’s that a customer could realistically shed during an event, SCE and SDG&E will pay $$ to offset costs to install or upgrade EMS systems upon your enrollment in a DR program.
We provide this service turn-key for SCE and SDG&E including control recommendations based on your HVAC equipment and installation or software upgrade of EMS controls all the way through to the DR events where we can put your facility in DR mode when and event is called. We work with you and your utility account rep throughout the process.
